Easy Colored Noodles

Making colored noodles is fun, and easy. They make awesome math manipulatives or serve as a colorful addition to play kitchen food. My toddler loves to scoop them from a bag or bowl with measuring cups as I am working in the kitchen.
Any type of macaroni noodles work well, I recommend using a larger type if you have toddlers.

Here's the super easy directions:
  1. dump noodles into a plastic 1 gallon bags
  2. add 3-5 drops of food coloring
  3. 2 Tablespoons of rubbing alcohol
  4. seal the bag tightly
  5. shake, shake, shake (My kids love to sing "shake, shake your noodles at this point")
  6. lay them out to dry on cookie sheets lined with paper towels (it only takes a few hours to dry)
HAVE FUN !!!
